OMAKASE – Spring time sushi experience you will love

Sun is already pretty high up there in the sky, nature is blossoming, in other words this is a perfect moment for you to make a fresh start!

Your plate deserves only the best, and Fukuro’s chef Dedi knows this all too well, so he created special OMAKASE spring menu for you to try out.

OMAKASE spring menu is comprised out of 5 dishes that complement each other perfectly. Each dish will refresh you, replenish your energy, and satisfy your hunger as well as offer a super tasty gastronomical experience in the very heart of Rijeka.

OMAKASE spring menu kicks off with Sashimi New Style which combines salmon, yuzu, salad and black tobiko! Talking about a great way to get energized and cool off! For those of you new in the “sushi game”, sashimi is basically thinly sliced delicious fresh raw fish (salmon in this case) served without rice. Salmon is served in a way to display the adorable natural colour  and texture of the fish itself. Alongside this delicious salmon you will enjoy yuzu, refreshing citrus fruit cultivated in East Asia!

Sashimi New Style is followed by the unavoidable Nigiri! Just as tasty as sashimi bit not quite the same, nigiri combines fresh raw fish with some delicious rice. It consists of hand – pressed sushi rice topped with slices of salmon tuna, or prawns. It is up to you to choose which one you like the best – sake, maguro or ebi.

The core of our chef ‘ s Dedi OMAKASE spring menu is Quick Eight. This undisputed king of taste comes in eight pieces of pure hedonism. Our chef Dedi recommends uramaki selection, sushi rolls with healthy nori seaweed in the middle of all that rice and delicious creamy filling. Ebi Tempura is the fourth piece on our unique spring time sushi jigsaw! To put it as simple as possible, ebi tempura is made out of shrimp tempura, onion and some seriously amazing sauce! OMAKASE spring menu is definitely a perfect opportunity to finally try it and learn to love it. 

Last but not the least, here come the dessert! It s called Mochi and it perfectly rounds off our OMAKASE spring menu! They love it in Japan and have been doing so since the 8 th century. Some even claim rice based Mochi has spiritual powers. If you’re brave enough, find it out yourself!
